Deloitte Financial Crime Symposium On Nov 2

Deloitte Bermuda will be presenting a Financial Crime Symposium the morning of Friday, November 2 at the Tradewinds auditorium in BUEI.

Registration and a continental breakfast commence in the lobby of BUEI at 8am. After a brief welcome from the organizers at 8:45am, Bruce Law and Allyson Lang [Bermuda Monetary Authority] will kick off the event with a keynote address with the status of the CFATF mutual evaluation review and future national risk assessments.

Sian Dalrymple [Bank of Butterfield], Jane Lewis [Horseshoe Group], and Suzanne Williams [ABIR] will take part in a panel discussing challenges of a compliance officer.

Alexi von Keszycki [Managing Director in the Regulatory and Risk practice of Deloitte] will speak on managing emerging AML risks related to virtual currency/digital assets in an evolving regulatory environment. Michael Shepard [Global Financial Crime Leader at Deloitte] will join a chat on the future of financial crime and cyber in the financial services industry. Closing remarks will take place at 12:45pm.
