Police Investigate Gun Shots In Pembroke

Police responded to several 911 calls regarding gun shots being heard in the Central Pembroke area last night, and said that “it does not appear that anyone has been injured.”

A police spokesperson said, “Police responded to several 911 calls regarding gun shots being heard in Central Pembroke area [Curving Avenue, Rambling Lane, Middle Town and Happy Valley areas] at 9:40pm.

“A firearms incident was declared and police have been actively canvassing area trying to identify a scene.

“At this point it does not appear that anyone has been injured and police are appealing for anyone who might have information on this incident is asked to contact police on 2950011.”
