Taxi & Car Collision On Middle Road In Warwick

A taxi driver and his three passengers as well as a car driver and his passenger attended the hospital for medical assessment following a collision yesterday [Oct 16] on Middle Road in Warwick.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 1:50pm Tuesday, October 16th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision on Middle Road in Warwick, near the junction with Spring Hill.

“It appears that a taxi and a car were being driven in opposite directions along Middle Road when the vehicles collided, damaging both vehicles.

“The taxi driver and his three passengers as well as the car driver and his passenger attended King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for medical assessment following the crash. All six were later discharged.

“Any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
