86-Year-Old Female Pedestrian Knocked Down

[Updated] Traffic is being diverted in the area by Masters in Hamilton after an 86-year-old pedestrian “was knocked down,” the police have advised.

A police spokesperson said, “Please be advised, an 86-year-old pedestrian was knocked down outside of Masters in the City of Hamilton. Traffic has been diverted from the area whilst the scene is being processed. The condition of the pedestrian is unknown at this time.”

Update 6.26pm: The police said, “The 86-year-old lady was taken to KEMH where she is being treated for non life threatening injuries. Dundonald Street now re-opened to traffic.”
