Armed Robbery At Coco Reef Hotel In Paget

Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Coco Reef Hotel in Paget at 2:24am this morning, with two males “brandishing bladed articles” entering the hotel, demanding cash and leaving after being “given an undisclosed amount of money.”

A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service responded to a report of an armed robbery that took place at Coco Reef Hotel at Stonington Circle, Paget at 2:24am this morning.

“It appears that two males wearing helmets and brandishing bladed articles entered the hotel and made demands of cash. As a result, the males were given an undisclosed amount of money and they subsequently left the building.

“Police have commenced an investigation into this matter and are following a number of lines of inquiry. Police are interested in speaking with anyone who may have any information into this incident or specifically anyone from around 1am to 2:30am who may have seen two men in area acting suspiciously to contact Acting Inspector Clifford Roberts on 2950011 or the crime stoppers confidential hotline 800-8477.”
