Bermuda Team Named For El Salvador Game

Nahki Wells, Reggie Lambe, Willie Clemons, Zeiko Lewis, Dante Leverock and Osagi Bascome are among those named to the Bermuda National football team that will play against El Salvador this Friday [Nov 16] at 8:00pm in the Concacaf Nations League Qualifying Round Match at the National Sports Center.

Bermuda’s team, as announced by the BFA, will include Jahquil Hill, Zeiko Lewis, Dante Leverock, Wendell Tre Ming, Dale Eve, Lejaun Simmons, William White, Cecoy Robinson, Jaylon Bather, Reginald Lambe, Daren Usher, Tevahn Tyrrell, Donte Brangman, Roger Lee, Liam Evans, Tomiko Goater, Osagi Bascome, Nahki Wells, Willie Clemons, Calon Minors and Casey Castle.

Staff are Kyle Lightbourne – Head Coach, Ray Jones – Assistant Coach, Scott Morton – Assistant Coach, Brendalee White – Team Manager, Maurice Lowe – Technical Development Director, Johnny Moreira – Goal Keeper Coach, Duane Dickinson – Equipment Manager and Craig Brown – Apex Physio.

The BFA said, “The Gombey Warriors welcome Nahki Wells to the team as they look to strengthen their position in the Group ahead of their final match versus the Dominican Republic in March 2019.

“Coming off a convincing victory against Sint Maarten the Gombey Warriors will be calling on all Bermuda fans to roar them on against their Central American counterparts. Friday’s match is poised to be an intense encounter with the Gombey Warriors looking to overcome past defeats at the hands of El Salvador.”

Locals are urged to come out and support our football team on Friday, with the match offering the chance to see the island’s top professionals in action, with footballers having traveled home from their teams in England and Europe to represent the island in this international match.

Tickets are available online at ptix.bm/bfa or at the BFA Clyde Best Center of Excellence in Prospect. VIP Club Tickets cost $50, tickets for adults are $25, and tickets for children [U12] and seniors are set at $10.

This will mark the third match for Bermuda in this inaugural Concacaf Nations League Qualifying Round, following after their 12 – 0 hammering of Sint Maarten last month, and their 3 – 1 loss to Aruba in September.
