Photos: Fairmont Southampton ‘Trees Of Hope’
Fairmont Southampton is urging people to “embrace the true spirit of the holidays” with their Trees of Hope, in which decorated Christmas Trees, sponsored by local businesses, adorn the hotel lobby with event proceeds going to the Family Centre.
The event poster said, “The holiday season is a time spent with loved ones, enjoying delicious meals and celebrating the years gone by. This Christmas, Fairmont Southampton partnered with companies to help families in need through Christmas Trees of Hope and Family Centre.
“Each Christmas tree purchased represents a donation towards Family Centre to help fund their critical programming. Family Centre is an internationally accredited Bermuda charity.
“The organisation was founded in 1990 and since 1996 has provided early intervention services to children who were suffering from family-based problems such as abuse, neglect, and other emotional challenges. Through specialised programmes and prevention initiatives, Family Centre provides families with the skills they need to be successful and to sustain that success for future generations.”
