Volleyballers Begin Competing In Florida
The Bermuda Volleyball Associations’ Junior National Girls program began competing in Daytona Beach, Florida in the 2018 Florida Holiday Challenge.
Bermuda’s Under 14 team went down in their opener in straight games to the Top Select 14 team 25-10, 25-10, they would then fall in straight games to the Pinellas Heat 14 Elite 25–21, 25-11, DME Elite Under 13 would then defeat the Bermuda team 25-7, 25-10.
The Bermuda Under 16 team are 0 & 3, this after falling to Top Select 16 in straight games 25-10, 25-7 and they went down in straight games 25-8, 25-4 to Gainsville Juniors One team. The Bermuda team would next go down to the Top Select 16 Black team in straight games 25-14, 25-5.
In the Under 18 Division, the Bermuda team went down in straight game to Top Select 18 Top 25-16, 25-10, they would then fall in straight games to NB Scout Team 17 Two 25-11, 25-13 and they would end the day going down in straight games to Top Select 18 Lake Nona 25-15, 25-20.
