“This initiative was supported by community partners and fellow police officers who donated non-perishable goods. It will afford many persons in the Bermuda community the opportunity to enjoy the gifts of comforting nourishment this Christmas Season.

“Most of the items have been handed over to the Salvation Army for distribution to families in need. However, the West Pembroke Neighborhood Watch Group that supports families in need at the West Pembroke School, the Substance Abuse Intervention Agency [Focus], and a vulnerable senior in Sandy’s Parish will also benefit from this initiative.

“The Community Action Team would like to give thanks to all of the Community Partners that continue to support this worthy community based initiative every year.”
