Dellwood & MSA Students To Decorate Tree
The City of Hamilton announced that students from Dellwood Middle School and Mount St. Agnes will once again participate in a tree decorating event at the corner of Court and Dundonald Streets in Dr. E.F. Gordon Square on Friday, December 7th at 8:30am.
Mount Saint Agnes Principal, Susan Moench said, ‘Working with Dellwood to decorate the Christmas tree at EF Gordon Square is a wonderful way for our students to come together in the true spirit of Christmas. Dellwood is our neighbor and participating in this annual event gives our students an opportunity to collaborate as a team on a joint project.’
Mayor Charles Gosling added, ‘North Hamilton is such a historic area of the City and we’re delighted that, along with two of the neighbouring schools, we can bring additional festive cheer to this community. We had a great time last year and I look forward to joining the students, City Council members as well as the Town Crier in this shared endeavor.’
An estimated ten students from each school will participate in the event where they will enjoy breakfast together before decorating the tree.
