Digicel ‘Fibre To The Business’ Connectivity

December 4, 2018

Digicel Bermuda said they are “looking to empower all businesses with the introduction of Digicel Fibre to the Business,” and as of December 3rd “all business customers can now have incomparable high-speed data connectivity.”

“No business today can operate without internet and we want to support businesses as they continue to grow and develop. Our Fibre to the Business service can support the latest technology and multiple devices simultaneously, helping our customers to provide the best service to their customers as employees can now stream, download and connect like never before,” said Digicel Head of Business Solutions, Gerry Ryan.

“A key focus of the product is for small to medium sized businesses as this sector is an extremely important source of job creation in communities,” the company said, adding that “Digicel is helping to make technology accessible to all businesses, no matter how big or how small.”

“The World Bank’s 2016 World Development Report showed the direct positive correlation between increased broadband penetration and improved GDP in developing economies.

“Digicel’s Fibre to the Business offers four key features, including customisable solutions with telephony, TV, WI-FI and security options; reliable services with minimal downtime and a superior state-of-the-art network backbone; secure end-to-end connection with no malware; and best-in-class fibre with Bermuda’s only 100% true fibre network.

“We launched our Fibre to the Home network last year and we have provided 1000s of customers with fast broadband internet, digital TV and phone service,” added Gerry Ryan.

“We continue to demonstrate our commitment to business by introducing quality services and products to the market. Fibre is the global standard for Internet and by leveraging our current fibre network we are committed to offering tailored connectivity solutions to meet every business’ needs.”

If this is an unacceptable as their fiber to the home offering it will fall flat, not a huge technological advancement as BTC who they now own have been doing fiber to the business for many many years
