Education Commissioner: Schools Will Open
Given the “notification from the BUT, the Department of Education is officially notifying parents and guardians that schools will be open” today [Dec 11], Commissioner of Education Kalmar Richards said.
Mrs Richards said, “BUT representatives held a press conference this afternoon, December 10, 2018 and made an announcement that staff will return to their respective schools tomorrow.
“Given this notification from the BUT, the Department of Education is officially notifying parents and guardians that schools will be open tomorrow for teaching and learning.
“We can also confirm that Ministry and Department of Education leaders will meet with BUT representatives tomorrow, December 11, 2018, under the guidance of a Labour Relations Officer.
“We remain optimistic that we can resolve the issues at hand, together.”
And they will have wifi, and all windows will work.
And ALL repairs are complete.YAWN

Most importantly, GIVE the entire public school teachers EXACTLY what they want.
Even though the teachers return to their respective schools today, Kalmar, it is not a direct indication of teacher satisfaction and happiness. That displeasure, surely, should not filter through the schools.
I reiterate….give the educators EXACTLY what they want.
In that way, the teachers are happy, YOU will be happy, principals will be happy, parents will be happy. All of the stakeholders will be HAPPY!!
So grades and behaviour will improve?
