Field Hockey: Mixed B Team & Pink Robins Win

Fifteen goals in total were scored during the Bermuda Field Hockey double-header that took place at the National Sports Center.

Mixed B Team 7 Canaries 3

The Mixed B Team scored five unanswered times in the first half, before being outscored by the Canaries 3 – 2 in the second half during their 7 – 3 victory.

The Mixed Team got a hat-trick from Tyler Smith, while Scott Gilbertson added two goals, with Samantha Davies and Alivia Venning adding a goal each. The Canaries got single strikes from Tom Gridley, Nat Rood, Grace Edy and Antoinette Rabain.

Sandpipers 0 Pink Robins 5

The Pink Robins defeated the Sandpipers 5 – 0, scoring three times in the first half and twice in the second.

Liana Coates gave the Pink Robins the lead in the 7th minute with a Field Goal, Lesci D’Angelo double the lead with a Penalty Corner goal in the 24th minute, it was 3 – 0 in the 30th minute when Emma Ranger scored from a Field Goal.

Coates would score her second goal of the game and the fourth for the Pink Robins with a Field Goal and then Coates would complete her hat-trick with a Penalty Corner goal in the 60th minute to make the final score 5 – 0.
