Major Beasley Appointed Second-In-Command
The Governor, Mr John Rankin, has today announced the appointment of Major Benjamin Beasley [pictured] as the new Second-in-Command of the Royal Bermuda Regiment.
Governor Rankin said “I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Major Beasley as Second-in-Command of the Royal Bermuda Regiment following the recommendations of the Regiment Promotions Board.
“During his career to date he has served the Regiment with distinction in a number of positions, including as Adjutant and as Training Officer.
“He also recently completed the UK Defence Academy’s Advance Command and Staff Course. I look forward to working with Major Beasley in his new role.”
“I would also take this opportunity to thank Major Warren Furbert for all his work as Second-in-Command of the Royal Bermuda Regiment over the past seven years.
“He has given dedicated service to the Regiment as a full-time member of staff since 1984 and will continue for the time being as the Regiment’s Paymaster.”
