Video: Sunday Dec 30th ‘Good News’ Spotlight

News that people celebrated Christmas Day across the island, Gombey troupes celebrated Boxing Day, Andrew Kirkpatrick and Nhuri Bashir traveled to Scotland to help film the holiday movie ‘Christmas In The Highlands.’ and Nahki Wells scored a goal in a Queens Park Rangers victory were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, ABIR companies gave back to the community over the festive season, Dunkley’s and Santa’s Helpers distributed Christmas hampers, the National Sports Centre is preparing to welcome 130 overseas swimmers for a winter training camp, and the 2019 Bermuda cruise ship schedule was released, showing an increase in projected cruise visitors to the island.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the Football Shield semi-final, Bermuda Motocross Club racing action, the Fecchio Cup Championships, the Dowling’s Christmas Community event, Icing Sugar Christmas decorations, the Chiko’s Smokey Rub Christmas dinner, and the Airport Group helping to clean Paget Marsh.
