BEDC: ‘Managing Your Finances For Growth’

The Bermuda Economic Development Corporation will host its first seminar for the New Year entitled Managing Your Finances for Growth at the World Heritage Centre in St. George’s on Wednesday, 16th January 2019 from 5.30pm until 8pm.

The two-and-a-half-hour event will provide attendees with information to help them identify ways to use their financial statements to forecast and plan to be profitable.

Joyce Hayward, CPA and guest expert stated, “I am looking forward to sharing tips with attendees that will help demystify the numbers and show them how to use key financial information to make smart business decisions.”

There will also be an opportunity to interact with, and learn from, other business owners who can share about best practices and current challenges.”

Joining Ms. Hayward as a presenter will be Lee Simmons, Vice President, Corporate Banking Department at The Bank of Butterfield & Son Limited. Mr. Simmons will provide insight on what the Bank looks for when business owners are requesting financing.

In addition, Colina Outerbridge BEDC’s Business Data and Policy Analyst will review the financial products available through the BEDC that can assist entrepreneurs better manage their cash flow.
