Evans Remains 14th In Australian Finn Sailing

Forty Finns including Bermuda’s Rockal Evans enjoyed a day of two halves once again as the Ronstan Australian Finn National Championship, taking place at Black Rock Yacht Club in Melbourne, continued.

In a day that went from light to pumping, overall leader Giles Scott from Great Britain won one race, with Ed Wright also from Great Britain winning the other.

Evans came off the water in his same starting position of 14th place as he now has 91 Net Points after 8 races.

Evans finished the first race of the day and the seventh of the series in 13th place, and he then crossed the line 13th in the second race of the day.

Giles has 12 Net Points to lead the Fleet, with Nichols Heiner from The Netherlands second with 19 Net points and the defending Australian champion Jake Lilley and Wright are T3rd with 34 Net Points.
