Bermuda’s Dante Leverock scored for Sligo Rovers, as the Irish team won their pre-season friendly against Galway United by a score of 3 – 0.

The club’s match report said, “Sligo Rovers recorded a 3-0 win over Galway United on Saturday in Castlebar. Dante Leverock opened the scoring from a tap-in from a free-kick.

“Regan Donelon doubled the lead with a fine strike from a free-kick. Donelon made it three with an even more impressive set-piece, curling the ball into the net from 25 yards

“Leverock went off injured in the final minute with a minor ankle injury. Next up is Ballinamallard on Tuesday in Ferney Park.”

Leverock — who also serves as the Captain of Bermuda’s National Football team – signed with the Irish team late last year, after spending most of 2018 playing for Estonian football team JK Narva Trans.
