Video: Sunday Jan 20th ‘Good News’ Spotlight

News that Justin Donawa was selected 66th overall in the 2019 Major League Soccer SuperDraft by the Columbus Crew, the first cruise ship of 2019 arrived in Bermuda, children’s rights advocate Tiffanne Thomas will be presenting at the International Symposium on Social Sciences and Management in Japan, and students honoured Dr. Martin Luther King Jr were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, the Generation Next Youth Movement Series featured Bermudian music artist Kavon Busby, Sakari Famous broke the National Indoor Women’s High Jump record, and Elan Daley won and broke four records at the Etobicoke Invitational Open A-B Swim Meet in Canada.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the George Duckett Memorial Rugby Game, the BEF Star Dust Stables Jumper Show, the MTM Tennis Championships, the Goslings to Fairmont Road Race, and the first cruise ship of 2019 arriving on the island.
