Warwick Academy To Host Fun Run & Walk
Warwick Academy will be hosting a Fun Run & Walk on Sunday, February 3rd at 2.00 pm starting on Morgan Road and traveling on to Harbour Road which will see a temporary closure from Morgan Road to Tamarind Vale, according to organizers.
A spokesperson said, “The event is to be held starting from here at Warwick Academy at 2 pm. There are 3 different distances, 1.5 km, 3 km and 5 km.
“The race will start from Morgan Road and then will go along Harbour Road with three turn around points depending what distance you are doing.
“Harbour Road is officially closed for two hours from Morgan Road to Tamarind Vale, so the race will be very safe for everyone. Bermuda Timing is doing the race so everyone will have an official time.
“Race number pick up is on Saturday between 9am and 11am here at Warwick Academy. Parking for the event is at Lindo’s Warwick or the basketball court at the school.There will be lots of draw prizes available and ice cream will be on sale after the event. Sign up at racedayworld.com.”
