Bermuda Cricket Board Seeks Executive Director
The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] is seeking an Executive Director, with resumes being accepted until February 15.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Cricket Board is seeking an Executive Director [ED]. Reporting to the President, the successful candidate will to be responsible for the management and administration of the operations/activities of the Secretariat of the Company in accordance with the relevant legislation and established policies, regulations and procedures to ensure that the BCB achieves the aims and objectives as set out in its strategic plan.
“The ED also provides executive support to the President, Executive Council and the members of the Standing Committees to enable them to discharge their duties and responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner. In addition, the ED performs financial, risk assessment and compliance oversight, human resources planning, high performance management, undertakes public and media relations to promote the aims and objectives of the BCB and performs associated duties as may be determined from time to time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Leadership, operational planning and management
- Financial planning, risk management and compliance
- Human resources planning and high-performance management
- Public and media relations
- Other associated duties
Qualifications and Experience:
- The ED must have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Sports Management or equivalent and must have experience working in national and international sports environment and its applicability to cricket would be a distinct advantage.
- A minimum of five [5] years’ experience in a comparable and progressive senior management supervisory position is required for the position. The ED should have experience working in human resource management, financial management and project management and current knowledge of cricket related challenges and opportunities relating to the mission of the BCB.
