Fashion Festival Announces Model Call Dates
The Bermuda Fashion Festival will be hosting their model calls on March 14th, 16th and 17th.
“The Bermuda Fashion Festival in unlike most model calls in the fashion industry. We are not only looking for seasoned professionals. If you’ve ever dreamt of stepping foot on a fashion runway and have the slightest thought that you have what it takes, the Bermuda Fashion Festival model call is for you,” a spokesperson said.
“The process doesn’t just stop on audition day. The selected models go through a number of boot camp training sessions and rehearsals, that not only prepare them for the shows but act as a stepping stone for a career as a model. Boot Camp trains models to walk, pose, work with others, prepare for the backstage quick changes and include iconic runway face offs”, says Savvy COO Danilee Trott.
“The children auditions are set to be held on Saturday, March 16th between 11am and 3pm at Pier 6 Lower Level. The Bermuda Fashion Festival is seeking boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 15.
“The Bermuda Fashion Festival will be hosting two adult auditions this year. Adult auditions will be held on Thursday, March 14th between 5:30pm and 7:30pm and Sunday, March 17th between 11am and 3pm at Pier 6 Lower Level. The Bermuda Fashion Festival is seeking men and women age 16 and older.
“Models are required to attend wearing white fitted tee shirts and blue fitted jeans or jean shorts. Men and children should come to auditions wearing white sneakers or black dress shoes and women are required to wear black heels that are a minimum or 4 inches, no wedges. If adult models are interested in modelling swimwear, please carry a swimsuit with you to auditions.

“The Bermuda Fashion Festival 10th anniversary will take place July 7th – 14th, 2019. The Festival will once again feature high energy and visually stunning runway shows, with innovative and spectacular social events.”
