Photo Set #2: BUT Celebrate 100th Anniversary
The Bermuda Union of Teachers [BUT] is celebrating their 100th anniversary with a number of events being held yesterday including a “Homage to Founders” gathering at the St. John’s Church yard, the very place where the BUT was conceived, a march through the city of Hamilton, a proclamation ceremony on the steps of City Hall and a Centenary Celebration at Victoria Park. The events will culminate tonight [Feb 2] with the Centenary Gala at Fairmont Southampton.
