The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce announced this year’s Annual General Meeting Luncheon keynote speaker, Mr. Andrew Mantilia, Global Geopolitics Lead, for KPMG.

“Andrew is responsible for leading KPMG’s efforts globally to help companies and governments understand the implications of geopolitics on their business,” the Chamber said.

“He brings the best of KPMG’s geopolitics insights across various sectors, functions and regions to solve those ‘beautiful problems’; the kinds of knotty dilemmas where big-picture thinking needs to blend with pragmatism to unlock solutions that really work.

“He has worked in New York, London, and Nairobi, and Andrew’s previous roles have included Chief Operating Officer of Advisory & Markets for the East Africa region. A Technologist by training in the US, Andrew leans on his experience in strategy and innovation across various sectors, with particular depth in Infrastructure, Government, and Healthcare.

“The Chamber’s AGM will take place at the Hamilton Princess at 12:00PM on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 and is open to all current Chamber members. The Luncheon with keynote speaker will follow from 12:30PM to 2:00PM and is open to both member and non-members.”

Kendaree Burgess, Chief Executive Officer stated: “The Chamber is pleased to welcome Mr. Andrew Mantilia to speak at this year’s Annual General Luncheon. The topic of geopolitics is perhaps one of the top three concerns facing CEO’s worldwide and I am looking forward to an interesting and engaging session.”

Steve Woodward, Managing Director and Sector Lead, KPMG Enterprise in Bermuda said: “KPMG is proud to continue our sponsorship of the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce’s AGM Luncheon. Geopolitical tensions are higher than ever, and the impacts on business are potentially more direct and immediate than ever.
