Dill Wins 800m At Bill Carson Invitational Meet
Bermuda’s Shaquille Dill won the 800m run in the Bill Carson Invitational track & field meet in Greenville, North Carolina.
The school’s report said, “Saint Augustine’s University continued its successful start to the outdoor season with five victories in the Bill Carson Invitational track & field meet in Greenville, N.C.
“The Falcons’ men, ranked second nationally in Division II, led the way with wins in four events. Brandon Parris [Sr./Sion Hill, St. Vincent] won the 200 dash in a provisional time of 21.28 and the team of Damere Gilbert [Jr./Sharon Hill, PA], Robert Walker [Jr./Newburgh, NY], Dontarian Evans [Sr./Gainesville, FL] and Devante’ Gardiner [So./Turks & Caicos Islands] won the 4×100 relay in a provisional time of 40.99. Nathan Fergusson [Fr./St. Thomas, Barbados] was victorious in the 400 dash and Shaquille Dill [Sr./Pembroke, Bermuda] crossed the finish line first in the 800 run.”
