Advisory: Good Friday Garbage Collection

Garbage normally collected on Friday April 19th will be collected on Saturday April 20th due to the Good Friday holiday.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works is advising of the following change in garbage collection due to the Good Friday holiday.

“Garbage normally collected Friday April 19, 2019 will be collected Saturday April 20, 2019.

“Recycling collection will remain the same as indicated in the current collection schedule of every other week.

“Public drop off hours for the Tynes Bay Waste Facility for April 19, only, is 9.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m. [noon].

“Individuals can also download their copy of the 2019/2020 Garbage and Recycling Schedule from www.gov.bm/garbage-and-recycling.”

    Save $$ by collecting once a week then pay double time for them to pick it up on Saturday ..guess that makes sense giving this governments economic history why not Thursday

    I’m in Pembroke it’s now 5 pm Wednesday, trash still here. Guess that’s over time, or wait let it like up AGAIN.
