Gunshots Fired In Khyber Heights, Warwick Area
Around 3:05pm today [April 7] police attended the Khyber Heights, Warwick area after “receiving several reports of gunshots being heard, with police confirming that a firearm had been discharged, however there are no reports of injuries.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 3:05pm today, [Sunday April 7th] police attended the Khyber Heights Warwick area after receiving several reports of gunshots being heard by area residents.
“On arrival it was ascertained that a firearm had been discharged, however there are no reports of injuries.
“Detectives and forensic officers are currently processing the scene and an investigation has commenced.
“Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or anyone with information regarding this incident, should call police on 295-0011 or the confidential Crime Stoppers on 800-8477.
Gosh I hope the pastor is making his way up there in the prayer-mobile to sort everything out.
