Bunch of spoiled brats…why d flip you need clarification on your job description like all you gotta do is drive and these lot are complaining about roaches on the buses? Where are there not roaches on this island? If anyone complained about these petty things at their jobs our bosses would tell us find a different job if you don’t like it.

    • Marching Band says:

I’m sure that parents and all of the children that are studying and taking final exams this time of year are thrilled to now know that once again they have been let down by the BIU and the Bus Operators. Great timing bus operators! If nothing else, you are consistent!

    • Mb says:

Wonder if it really has to do with the desilva announcement of over 100 mini buses taking their jobs!
When successive ministers and managers and public pressure have tried and tried over years to work with PTB to fix issues to no avail this is what happens you are left on sidelines
Taxis are next … starts with the new licenses but you can get Uber will arrive one day soon too
Change with the times or be left behind

  4. Um Um Like says:

  5. Horsemeat says:

Work to rule meaning that the drivers do the job they are paid to do? Awesome. So perhaps the buses will arrive when they’re supposed to now.

  6. Ya boy says:

  7. sandgrownan says:

  8. London says:

You get what you voted for!

  9. Really says:

So less buses and less work but you people still find the need to work to rule? We should go private and send all you Government workers home or out to get a real job!

  10. Donderered says:

Buses, bus schedules closed school, more taxes higher health insurance, no economic plan, no new jobs, retail imploding, business confidence at an all time low … how much worse can it get?

    • Double S says:

“how much worse can it get?”

      PLP says: hold my beer

  11. Joe Bloggs says:

The BIU says management at the DPT is incompetent and must go. I say give the BIU what it wants. Contract out the bus service and make all the employees at the DPT redundant. Yes, there will be a one off cost in doing that, but the ongoing cost of maintaining buses and the employees to operate and keep them running will end. That will be a problem for the new, privately owned, bus company.

Not only will Government be better off, but the Bermudian owned BIU can bid for the contract to run the new bus company!

  12. gustav says:

  14. the man in the high castle says:

Bermuda will continue to fall apart while you allow people like the biu to dictate to you and even worse, you give them your money to buy fancy houses and clothing while you live from week to week.

    • London says:

Couldn’t av said it any better

    • Wahoo says:

Yup, and they do not even have the courtesy to produce financials.

  15. Fed Up says:

Next year’s bus schedule should include work to rule, strikes & meetings since it’s an annual thing.

  16. puzzled says:

St. Kitts is looking better and better.

  17. question says:

If the union wants the government to get rid of incompetent and ineffective employees, I say go for it. Review every single public employee, top to bottom, and get rid of the ones who are not effective or who are incompetent. All of them.
