Sailors at the 2019 Finn Open European Championship in Athens — including Bermuda’s Rockal Evans — were back on the water, after a delay due to light air.

The fleet of 84 boats from 33 nations spent the morning hoping and wishing for wind, which eventually came and they were able to complete 2 races.

Evans finished the first race of the day and the 7th of the series in 61st before finishing 68th in the second race of the day, and he came off the water in 63rd place overall with 417 net points.

Giles Scott from Great Britain continues to lead having accumulated 28 Net Points, he finished outside the top three twice, while Hungary’s Zsombor Berecz is in second with 43 points and Facundo Olezza from Argentina is in third with 80 points.
