P.A.L.S. Tag Day Set For May 31 & June 1

P.A.L.S. is getting set to hold their 38th annual tag day on Friday [May 31] and Saturday [June 1], with Governor John Rankin making the purchase of the event’s first tag.

Colleen English De Grilla said, “This week is our 38th annual tag day. In anticipation of our tag days on Friday, May 31st and Saturday, June 1st, I sold the first tag to Governor Rankin at Government House.”

According to their website, P.A.L.S. mission is to “provide cancer patients with quality care primarily in the home setting in order to enhance the quality of life. To provide support and assistance to cancer patients and their families. To meet physical, emotional and social needs of patients. To promote health, dignity and independence, regardless of ability to pay, to the extent of the resources of P.A.L.S. To maximize the use of volunteers and voluntary funding by encouraging support for P.A.L.S. from the community at large.”
