Saltus Win BSSF Middle School Hockey
Saltus Grammar School won both the Boys and Girls Divisions during the Bermuda School Sports Federation’s Middle School Hockey Tournament.
Saltus One went undefeated in the Girls Division without conceding a goal, they defeated Warwick Academy One 4-0 in the Girls Final.
Saltus got two goals apiece from Rachel Hyland and Lauren Cardwell.
Saltus Boys defeated Somersfield Academy 3 – 1 in the Boys Final.
Saltus trailed for the first time in the tournament when Finn Gallagher put Somersfield Academy ahead early in the match. The lead lasted a minute before Jacob Adderly equalized for Saltus.
Adderly then turned provider for Bobby Bart who gave Saltus the lead. Jonah Faria sealed the win with a third goal with five minutes remaining.
