Bermuda Netball: Flames & Scholars Win

After a few nights of rain cancellations, the Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League season resumed at the Bernard Park.

The Phoenix Flame defeated the Rain 25 – 15, Ebonie Cox led the Phoenix Flame’s to victory with 22 goals, while Eshe Grant added 3 goals, Jasmyn Renfroe scored 9 goals for Rain who also got 5 goals from Diara Benjamin and a single goal from Amaya Burt. Antonia Holder was named the Phoenix Flame’s MVP, while Asante Chapman was named the Rain MVP.

The Extreme Sport Scholars defeated the BUT teachers 27 – 20, Micah Pond led the Extreme Sport Scholars with 7 goals, while MVP Amali Smith, Nabiilah Nasir, Kaamilah Nasir and Inshanae Smith all scored 5 goals each. The BUT Teachers got 16 goals from Danielle Raynor, while Damina Caisey added 4 goals, Elanae Anderson was the BUT Teachers MVP.
