Bermuda Netball: Rain, Scholars, & Flames Win

There were plenty of goals scored in the latest round of the Bermuda Netball Associations Summer League Season.

A triple header produced 127 goals in total at the Bernard Park.

Rain defeated the BUT Teachers 23 – 18, Jasmyn Renfroe would once again lead Rian to victory scoring 15 goals, while Diara Benjamin added 5 goals, while Amayaj Burt scored twice and Miesha Greaves added the other, with Kenya Simons named the team’s MVP. Sonja Townsend scored 15 goals for the BUT Teachers, while Tanika White added 3 goals, with Zindzi Swan named MVP.

The Xtreme Sport Scholars defeated the Old Kids on the Court 29 – 9, Micah Pond scored a game high 12 goals for the Xtreme Sports Scholars, with Kaamilah Nasir adding 9 goals, Zariah Amory and Selah Tuzo both scored three times with Elishe Smith adding two goals, Inshan-nae Smith was named the team’s MVP. Charlie Bridgman scored all 9 goals for the Old Kids on the Court, with Amber Chamberlain named the team’s MVP.

The final game of the night saw the Phoenix Flames defeated the BHB Angels 31 – 17, Phoenix Flames MVP Ebonie Burgess scored a night high 25 goals, and Nisiah Berkeley scored 6 goals, the BHB Angels got 14 goals from MVP Charlene Bogle-Gomez and Rhoda Jones added 3 goals.
