BNA Summer League: Scholars & Zebras Win
The Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League season resumed at the Bernard Park with a double-header that produced 95 goals.
The Xtreme Sport Scholars defeated the Rain 31 – 22, the Xtreme Sport Scholars were led by Elishe Smith with 10 goals, Kaamilah Nasir added 8 goals, while Selah Tuzo scored 6 times, Nabiilah Nasir scored 4 goals and MVP Micah Pond scored 3 times. MVP Jasmine Renfroe scored 22 goals for Rain.
The PHC Lady Zebras defeated the BHB Angels 27 – 14, MVP Darrika Simons led the way for the PHC Lady Zebras with 19 goals, Kammie Mills added 5 goals and Vernicka Symonds scored 3 times. MVP Charlene Bogle-Gomez scored 13 goals for the BHB Angels, while Joanne Rogers added 1 goal.
