Lewis Back In Action Again In Switzerland
Bermuda’s Jessica Lewis began competing in the LA-SM Rollstuhlsport International IPC Track Meet in Switzerland.
On the Opening Day, Lewis competed in two races, the 100m and 400m
Lewis finished 4th in the T53 Women’s 100 meter race clocking a time of 17.62, while Samantha Kinghorn from Great Britain clocked a winning time of 16.96, Angela Ballard from Australia was second in 17.07, and Kelsey LeFevour from the United States of America was third in 17.57.
Competing in the T53 Women’s 400 meter race, Lewis crossed the line 8th stopping the clock in a time of 1:00.61. Ballard from Australia clocked a winning time of 55.33, Chelsea McClammer from the United States was second in 55.96 and Kinghorn from Great Britain was third in 56.17.
