“As I gather local club histories and work on condensing information your book is assisting me as a model on what information I need to be mindful to focus on and include. I look forward to your assistance.”

“Butterfield said that she was so overwhelmed by the Governor’s remarks and message to her and very thankful for the great reception they afforded her at the meeting. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the Bermuda Business and Professional Women’s Club, the members past and present recognizing that without their support this would not have happened and publishing the book was a vision fulfilled.

“Some of the members of the Bermuda Club were the founder Mrs. Lilian Minors, the late Dame Lois Browne Evans, the late June Augustus, Mrs. Merle Brock Swan Williams, Mrs. Dorothy Matthews Paynter, Dame Jennifer Smith just to name a few.

“Let me say that I was shocked when the announcement was made but to God be the glory for the great things He has done and I am looking forwarding to attending the conference in July.
