Netball: Rain, Teachers & Phoenix Flames Win

A triple header took place at Bernard Park as the Bermuda Summer Netball season continued.

Rain defeated the PHC Lady Zebras 33 – 11, Rain were led by Jasmine Renfroe who scored 25 goals, Miesha Greaves added 5 goals and Amayah Burt scored 3 times, with the team MVP named Jaylyn Hines. Vernicka Symonds scored 5 goals for the PHC Lady Zebras, while Tyra-Lynn Simmons added 3 goals, Tahira Hill scored twice and Kammie Mills scored one, Sarafina Woolridge was named the team’s MVP.

The B.U.T Teachers defeated the BHB Angels 23 – 14, the B.U.T Teachers would get 15 goals from Danielle Raynor, while Makeda Goater added 5 goals and Tanika White scored 3 goals, K’xiyae Gibbons was named the team’s MVP, Drewshae Bascome scored 12 goals for the BHB Angels, with Marie Miles adding the other 2 goals, Mckara Burch was named the team’s MVP.

The Phoenix Flames defeated the Xtreme Sport Scholars 27 – 19 in the final game of the night. Phoenix Flames MVP Ebonie Cox scored 22 goals, while Eshe Grant scored 5 goals. The Xtreme Sport Scholars got 6 goals apiece from Nabiilah Nasir and Micah Pond, while Kaamilah Nasir scored 3 times, MVP Amali Smith and Jade Johnston added 2 goals each.
