Almost 17 hours after they left Bermuda, the national football team arrived at their hotel in San Jose, Costa Rica.

The Gombey Warriors will be taking on Haiti on June 16 at the Estadio Nacional in the first of three Gold Cup games.

The team started its travel day with the 9:30am flight to Miami. They then had a long layover in Miami before departing for San Jose. The flight landed around 9:30pm, but it was another 90 minutes before they made their way to the hotel.

But even then, their day wasn’t finished as they had a team meeting and a meal before tucking into bed.

Scott Morton and Brendalee White had arrived at the hotel on Sunday to help work out the logistics prior to the squad’s arrival.
