Video: Dale Eve Makes ‘Save Of The Game’

June 21, 2019 | 2 Comments

Bermuda goalkeeper Dale Eve has done an excellent job in the past two Gold Cup games, and last night Concacaf handed the goalkeeper a well earned accolade, naming one of his saves as the ‘Save of the Game’, saying “Dale Eve makes this difficult save look easy.”

Dale Eve has faced over 30 shots on goal so far in the Gold Cup, with the Bermudian goalkeeper recording in excess of a dozen big saves in the past two games.

Eve makes an acrobatic dive to make the save, earning him ‘Save of the Game’ honours:

In addition to Mr Eve, Bermuda’s team includes Nahki Wells, Dante Leverock, Jonte Smith, Reggie Lambe, Oliver Jalen Harvey, Calon Minors, Roger Lee, Kacy Milan Butterfield, Jaylon Bather, Lejaun Simmons, Donte Brangman, Chikosi Basden, Zeiko Lewis, Willie Clemons, Jahquil Hill, Osagi Bascome, Cecoy Robinson, Justin Donawa, Wendell Tre Ming, Liam Evans, Marco Warren, and Quinaceo Hunt.

The Gombey Warriors have already played Haiti and Costa Rica, and while they will not advance in this tournament, they do have another game, and will take on Nicaragua on June 24th in New Jersey. Bernews has a dedicated reporter traveling with the team, with the special coverage thanks to the support of Butterfield & Vallis, One Communications, and Security Associates.

    Eve,

I don’t know you but all I can say is your freaking awesome.

I will be surprised if you are not playing for a big team this coming season.

Great attitude, great leader and great goalkeeper.
