Bermuda Basketball: Skyforce & Twisters Win
The Bermuda Basketball League continued inside the Bermuda College Gymnasium with a double header that produced 242 Points.
Game 1 saw the Pembroke Skyforce defeat the St. George’s Hoopstars 83 – 52. Jericho Tucker scored a game high 28 Points to lead the Pembroke Skyforce to victory, he also had 7 Rebounds, 1 Assist, 3 Steals and 1 Blocked Shot, while Gershon Kurt added a double-double for the Pembroke Skyforce, he scored 27 Points, 14 Rebounds, 1 Assist, 4 Steals and 4 Blocked Shots. Kennique Wilson scored 14 Points for the St. George’s Hoopstars, he added 5 Rebounds, 6 Assists and 5 Steals.
In Game 2 the Hamilton City Twisters edged the Southampton Wolfpack 55 – 52. Te’Jour Riley scored a double-double to lead the Hamilton City Twisters with 14 Points and 16 Rebounds he also had 2 Assists, 1 Steal and 1 Blocked Shot, while Jason Lowe led the Southampton Wolfpack with 15 Points, 2 Rebounds and 1 Assist.
