Video: Cup Match Captains Desilva & Cann
[Updated with video] Bernews will be hosting a News & Views panel discussion at around noon on Tuesday [July 30] to discuss the upcoming Cup Match Cricket Classic, with Cup Match captains Jordan Desilva and Lionel Cann set to take part in the discussion.
The much anticipated annual cricket match is set to take place this Thursday and Friday, and the clubs both recently announced their teams. The game will be televised on Channel 82 and Bernews will stream that broadcast online, both here on our website and on Bernews Sports Facebook group.
The panelists will be discussing the matter with journalist Don Burgess, and we will update this article with the live video at around noon on Tuesday, or you can keep an eye on Bernews Facebook page.

That is how all Bermuda History is passed on from the elders but this is not being done anymore because this has been a disconnect.
I have really enjoyed watching the two captains speak passionately about cup match. it is really nice that Mr. Cann has come back to St Georges to give back this year.

Good interview. Both men spoke how they love this sport especially at cup-match. Nowhere in the world do they shut down for a cricket match for 2 days and battle it out. Lionel Cann, it’s my hope that St. George’s can keep this cup in the East…sorry Jordan!
