Students To Participate In European Debate
Tomorrow [July 10], three students are traveling to Prague to eventually end up in Olomouc to participate in the Heart of Europe debate tournament.
Gladstone Thompson said, “The students include 14-year-old Salayah Stange from Bermuda High School, 16-year-old Christopher Jackson, a dual enrollment student at the Bermuda College and the Berkeley Institute, and 16-year-old Raina DeFontes of the Berkeley Institute.
“These students entered The Fintech Challenge debate where HSBC was the lead sponsor.
“The prepared topics are this house supports leaving the ICC and this house believes big data companies should be open source.
“Kimberley Jackson will travel with the team as coach and I will travel as adjudicator.”
