BPS Appeal For Witnesses To Stabbing Incident

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with video footage of the stabbing of an 18-year-old woman on Sunday [Aug 25] outside the Rum Bum Beach Bar in Southampton.

A police spokesperson said, “A 19-year-old woman arrested in connection with the stabbing of an 18-year-old Devonshire woman around 12:30am Sunday, August 25th outside the Rum Bum Beach Bar, Horseshoe Bay beach, Southampton remains in police custody at this time.

“The appeal continues for anyone with video footage of the stabbing to come forward. Any information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

“Witnesses or members of the public with relevant information or video footage of this incident are again encouraged to call the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744.

“Alternatively, confidential tips can be provided by calling the independent and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477, or by visiting the Crime Stoppers Bermuda website www.crimestoppers.bm.”
