Two Men Arrested In Connection With Assault
Two 24-year-old men have been arrested in connection with the assault of a security officer at East End Mini Yacht Club, and a 38-year-old man who was arrested shortly after the incident has since been released on police bail.
A police spokesperson said, “Two 24-year-old men – both believed to be from St. George’s – have been arrested in connection with the assault of a security officer at East End Mini Yacht Club that occurred around 12:30am Saturday, August 24th.
“Both men remain in police custody at this time pending further inquiries.
“A 38-year-old St. George’s man arrested shortly after the incident has since been released on police bail.
“Witnesses or members of the public with relevant information or video footage of this incident are again encouraged to call the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744.
