Horseshoe Bay Closed To Swimming Today

Horseshoe Bay beach has been closed to swimming today [Sept 30] due to “high surf conditions and severe rip currents.”

A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Parks is advising that Horseshoe Bay beach has been closed to swimming due to high surf conditions and severe rip currents. The double red flags to indicate that swimming is prohibited have been raised.

“Additionally, the Department has installed high surf warning signs on all South Shore beaches.

“Patrons are expected to adhere to all warning signs, flags, and to follow all directions from the Lifeguards on duty.”
