Phillips Finishes 6th In Nadal Tournament
Daniel Phillips played back to back games in the Rafa Nadal Tour Masters Final 8 Tennis Tournament in Spain.
Phillips took on Nacho Rocabert in the 7th – 8th place match, Phillips needed an injury time out due to a back injury, but he recovered enough to win the match in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.
Phillips and Alejo Sanchez took to the court for the 5th – 6th place position match. Sanchez won the first set 6-4, but Phillips won the second set 6-1, sending the game to a Super-Tie Breaker. Sanchez would win the Super-Tie Breaker 10 – 7, with Phillips finishing 6th.
