  1. Paul says:

There was nothing new on the reform, and it will not be tabled in the house tomorrow…….

    • CRypto says:

Didn’t understand the point of having a town hall meeting which would imply that they were looking for input and feedback. But if the bill is being tabled tomorrow then that tells us all that you do not really care what anyone thinks. Your mind is made up and you are going to do what you think is best. So why waste peoples time and money?

    • Dance with me says:

You better wake up Lea Scott sounds like the PLP.

She knows the UBP and OBA way are finished. She proves she’s not one of their puppets once again.

” PEOPLE THAT COME TO BERMUDA TO LIVE AND THEY LIVE BETTER THAN THE PEOPLE IN BERMUDA AND THAT’S NOT FAIR”

No to PRC holders and no to work permit holders. Yes to mixed families that have a Bermuda connection only.

      • sandgrownan says:

Disgusting comment from Leah Scott. Round the drain we circle.

      • question says:

It’s absolutely not true. It’s the kind of thing that right-wing racists want you to believe. “They come over here and take all the best jobs and live better than us” and all that crap. It’s utter moronic tripe.
If this is the level of “debate” this is why they are failing to move forward. They’re morons. And if this is what Leah Scott said, she is one as well.

      • Onion_peels says:

Hold on there. Nahki Wells goes over to England, takes a job that can be done by an Englishman, doesn’t get a work permit and lives A LOT better than most people in England. That’s not fair.

        No to foreigner footballers.

        /sarcasm

  2. Gary Burns says:

    Its the Wayne Caines show.

Shame they didn’t have someone from IB on the panel, feels very one sided.

    What’s the point?

  3. Question says:

So they’ve done nothing, amd they’re doing nothing. The usual.

  4. Stevie says:

    Time to resign Caines.

    • Ringmaster says:

Caines is doing what he has been instructed to do. Raise hopes, look like the PLP is doing something, do nothing – rinse and repeat. The PLP will put any reform off as long as they can, except it may be forced on them by the Courts and they will have no say in the result.

    • wahoo says:

Not yet. They have a couple more things for him to do.

  5. Preview says:

Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free.

  6. Pull up the ladder says:

I repeat, it is time to ask our current government and their avid bitter supporters what they see in their mental image of a future Bermuda. I urge everyone to simply ask them what that picture looks like. Enough talk, ask them.
