Occupational Therapy Association Seminar

An education seminar will be hosted by the Bermuda Occupational Therapy Association on October 26th.

A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Occupational Therapy Association is pleased to offer a Seminar on island for Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Rehabilitation Assistants and various Long Term Care staff.

“This course looks at Falls Prevention Strategies, helping professionals hone or update their skills. Bermuda continues to have an aging population and the growing need for older adults to remain independent and age in place. This course will help health care professionals assess and assist individuals to live well in both community and long term care.

“This course will be hosted on October 26th 2019 to mark World Occupational Therapy Day. It will allow participants to receive 6 hours towards their continuing education credits.
