Sailors Continue Optimist Championships

The 2019 North American Optimist Championships individual competition recently continued in Nassau, Bahamas, with Bermuda sailor Christian Ebbin still leading after the third day of racing.

After a total of eight races, Ebbin leads the fleet with 26 net points; he finished second in the first race of the day and then he crossed the line 27th in the second race of the day.

Magnus Ringsted is the second Bermuda sailor and he is in 16th with 73 net points; Ringsted had a ninth and 44th place finish on the day.

PJ Rodrigues is 72nd with 154 points, while Rachael Betschart is in 73rd with 157 points.

Laura Hupman is 92nd with 194 points, while Amelia Lewis finished the day in 95th with 199 points, and Ava Adams is 101st with 211 points.

Nicole Stovell is currently holding down the 105th place spot with 219 points, Kipling Rossouw is 120th with 193 points, and Sophia Dias is 125th with 206 points.
