Golf: Bermuda Mixed Foursomes Championship

The Bermuda Mixed Foursomes Championship concluded at Turtle Hill Golf Course this weekend, and the 2019 champions were Damian Palanyandi and Katyna Rabain.

Conditions were challenging on both days with winds out of the NNE in the region of 20-30 knots.

The event was a 36-hole event in which Round 1 was played using the Four-Ball format and Round 2 was modified Pinehurst also known as alternate shot. Palanyandi and Rabain were the overnight leaders after scoring a 1-under par 53.

They then extended their lead in the 2nd round with a 58 for a total of 111. The defending champions, Jevon Roberts and Liz Carpio were never really a threat to the winners with scores of 57 and 62 for a total of 119. The runners-up in the gross event were Dan Skoczylas and Kathryn Lloyd-Hines who came in with a 57 & 59 for a total of 116.
